Mobile Application for Tracking and Sharing Cyclists Location on Map
Schléger, Richard ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with analysis, design and implementation of mobile application and application for smartwatches for tracking and sharing location of athletes, especially cyclists. Main goal of this application is to increase level of safety of athletes during the activity. This task is accomplished by location sharing and also by automatic fall detection and following notification. Final application is intended for mobile operating system Android and iOS a also for smartwatches with Wear OS. Theoretical part is dealing with analysis of actual trends in cycling, mobile applications and smartwatch applications development. Implementation part consists of design of application, implementation itself and testing.
New features for real-time positioning system locator
Studený, Jakub ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the detection of falls and impacts, based on data obtained from inertial sensors, and by measuring the distance using a laser. The aim of this thesis is to extend the functionality of locators from Sewio. The thesis describes the procedure for designing algorithms for detection of falls and impacts. Then there is a procedure for development of hardware and software solution, for laser distance measurement by locator, together with presentation of achieved measurement results realized by locator after implementation of proposed solution. The work also emphasizes the minimization of energy consumption of individual solutions. In conclusion, there is a discussion of achieved results with evaluation of efficiency and usability of proposed solutions.
Gateway for monitoring maritime transport
Fučík, Stanislav ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
This thesis addressed the monitoring of maritime traffic. The aim was to evaluate current solutions in the field of maritime traffic monitoring and to design and create new solution. The proposed solution is powered by solar panels and Li-Ion batteries. For sending data, satellite and mobile connections is be used. As a source of information about position GPS is used. The monitoring unit is equipped with sensors for measuring temperature, humidity, acceleration, intrusion of into the container and a detector of the opening door. The unit is resistant to the atmospheric influences prevailing sea and is operational long-term at sea.
Comparison of data from smartphones, fitness trackers, and specialised devices
Kačníková, Diana ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is the comparissement of data from smart phones, fitness bracelets and specialized devices. Thesis includes description of features when using special devices such as smart phone, Axivity AX3 bracelet and Fitbit Alta HR for data recording. Signals were recorded using those devices with different anatomical locations and sampling frequencies. Those data recorded were implemented for three algorithms created for activity classification. Detection accuracy was calculated for each signal recorded. Devices, sampling frequencies and anatomical locations were compared based on the accuracy. Ultimate combination of sampling frequency, anatomical location and suitable device was defined.
Smartphone-based fall detection
Strejček, Jakub ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with basic processing of data from accelerometer in smartphone, which is used for fall detection of people. By right detection we could prevent many serious injuries caused by delayed help to people, who were unable to call for help. This paper focuses on the mechanisms of falls and their characteristics and also on hardware used for fall detection. Furthermore, already created Android applications from Google Play and their functionality are studied. In addition to that there were collected data about people falls and an algorithm for detection of fall was created in Matlab. Android smartphone application was developed and tested in this work.
Pedometer and fall detection
Vraňáková, Sofia ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
This work is focused on the issue of human activity sensing using inertial sensors built into intelligent devices and followed by detection of walk, detection of steps and fall from the accelerometer-scanned signal in the smartphone. The walk detection is performed by using signal envelope, a first signal difference and a standard deviation of the signal. The step detection is implemented by using the method of searching local maximum values and the customized filtering method. Fall detection is realized by using the method of searching maximum and minimum values and using the appropriate threshold values.

Detection Of Collapse By Android Smartphone
Repčík, Tomáš
The bachelor’s study is focused to design and build an Android application for the detection of collapse, which is enhanced by new techniques coming from a sphere of the artificial intelligence modified for smartphones. The application uses accelerometer outputs which are in suspicious moments analysed by the neural network. The artificial intelligence is based on simulated events of collapse and events which resemble a fall of a person. The study describes data collected from 20 people. To provide the best results of training, the most convenient and useful features were selected by multiple approaches. Total accuracy of the collapse detection reached 93 %, with 9 % and 13 % of false positive and false negative detections, respectively.
